Its voice is especially moving because faith here has a long memory: countless difficulties have been survived through the Lord's help. Catholics can pray it for aging relatives, the ill, and those who fear becoming burdens to others. It affirms that old age is not a spiritual afterthought but a season of witness to younger generations. The Psalm's hope in renewed life can be read in the light of Christian resurrection faith, without erasing its immediate plea for help.
