God surrounds his people, while injustice is warned not to rule forever. Catholics hear an invitation to steadfastness, especially when integrity carries a cost. The image of a firm mountain does not imply that believers never suffer change or uncertainty; it speaks of God's enduring fidelity. Jesus' image of a house founded on rock offers a fitting Gospel parallel. Trust becomes visible through upright choices, even when the surrounding world offers easier paths.
