It is a surprising song of inclusion grounded in God's choice of a holy dwelling. Catholics can recognize a foreshadowing of the universal Church, where birth, nation, and status do not limit the invitation to enter God's family through Christ. Such an application should respect the Psalm's original vision of Jerusalem while rejoicing in the new covenant's scope. Its joyful refrain points toward a home whose sources of life are found in God.
