Surrounded by adversaries, the worshiper can lie down and sleep because the Lord sustains him. That quiet trust is a lesson in prayer when family conflict, accusations, or fear seem stronger than faith. Catholics can pray it in union with Christ, who entrusted himself to the Father amid hostility; this is a spiritual application, not an explicit New Testament identification of the Psalm as prophecy. Salvation belongs to God, not to the strength of those who threaten us. Scripture connections: 2 Samuel 15; Luke 23, verse 46; Romans 8, verse 31 Read Psalm 3 (NABRE) on Bible Gateway Tue, 13 Oct 2026 13:14:42 GMT https://validator.w3.org/feed/docs/rss2.html PeerTube - https://peertube.fourangrydachshunds.nohost.me https://peertube.fourangrydachshunds.nohost.me/lazy-static/avatars/841e8d36-3573-4ed6-bb57-c78d3030ac78.png https://peertube.fourangrydachshunds.nohost.me/videos/watch/9f321d15-8819-49f8-b829-994e59871bd0 All rights reserved, unless otherwise specified in the terms specified at https://peertube.fourangrydachshunds.nohost.me/about and potential licenses granted by each content's rightholder.
